Dear Parent/Carer,

Catering changes – Week commencing Monday 6th October 2025

I am writing to advise you of a change to our catering service. 

From Monday 6th of October, students will be able to use their Free School Meal allowance at lunchtime only. Students will no longer be allowed to use their Free School Meal allowance at breaktime. We are doing this to ensure students use their allowance for a meal at lunchtime rather than spending it on snacks and drinks in the morning.

All students still have the option to purchase snacks and drinks at breaktime, but they will need to have their own money on the account to do so.

The free breakfast club remains available to all students. This is open 30 minutes before the start of the academy day. Water stations are also available for refills providing the student has their own refillable water bottle.

Our canteen is cashless. Full instructions on activating and using your cashless account is available on our academy website. Please contact the academy, should you have difficulties with the activation process or have any special requirements.
