Strengthening Our Partnership: Communication and Appointments

Dear Parents and Carers,

At Co-op Academy Priesthorpe, we believe that a strong partnership between home and school is the key to a young person’s success. We value open, honest, and supportive dialogue and we remain fully committed to strengthening these relationships.

To ensure we can give your queries the dedicated time and attention they deserve, we would like to share a reminder regarding our meeting procedures.

Why We Request Pre-Booked Appointments

Whilst we always want to hear from you, our priority during the day is the safety, learning, and engagement of the children. If you "drop in" without a scheduled time, it is highly likely that the staff member you wish to speak with will be:

  • Teaching a lesson or supporting a group activity.

  • Having 1:1 sessions with a pupil and supporting them.

  • Supervising pupils during break or transition times.

To avoid the disappointment of being unable to see a staff member immediately, please ensure that all meetings are booked in advance.

How to Get in Touch

Scheduling a time to talk ensures that our staff can prepare any necessary information and give you their undivided attention. You can arrange a phone call or an in-person meeting via:

  • Email: prie-info@coopacademies.co.uk and state, ‘For  the attention of…’  the staff you would like to meet with in the topic box.

  • Phone: 0113 2574115 -  Please speak to the school office team and they will be able to take your times and availability. This will be forwarded to the relevant member of staff or department to support finding a mutually convenient time to schedule a meeting.

Additionally, to contact a member of the student support team or safeguarding department directly, please use the following link for further information  - https://www.priesthorpe.coopacademies.co.uk/page/?title=Meet+the+Team&pid=74

Note: For quick, urgent messages (such as a change in pick-up arrangements), we would always advise contacting the main office directly rather than waiting to speak to a teacher.

We appreciate your cooperation and your ongoing support in helping us maintain a focused and productive learning environment for all our students.

Kind Regards,

Co-op Academy Priesthorpe
