Dear Parent/Careers,

We are delighted to announce that we will be holding our ‘Celebrate Your Culture Day’ on Thursday 2nd April this year. This event is a day to celebrate our diverse community here at Priesthorpe, providing an opportunity to explore the many different cultures and individuals that make it great. 

We encourage all students on this day to share with others any aspects of their own culture, heritage, passions and beliefs. This may include doing things like;
wearing a shirt from your favourite sporting team or musician 
wearing a uniform from a club you attend such as cadets or scouts
wearing any form of traditional national dress 
or wearing colours that represent your heritage 

During ‘Celebrate Your Culture Day’ we will be exploring different cultures in coaching. The day will also include whole academy events such as; 
An opportunity to have group photographs taken 
A chance to purchase and try foods from around the world 

We believe strongly here at Priesthorpe in a truly inclusive community and want everyone to feel welcome to celebrate and share their own culture whatever that means to them.
