End of Term Letter

Dear Parents and Carers,

As we reach the end of another busy and successful school year, I want to say a huge thank you for your continued support. Our partnership with you is what makes our school community so strong, and we have so many fantastic achievements to celebrate from this past year—especially during a packed final half term.

For the first time, we hosted the Year 11 Prom right here in our school hall. It was a massive success with our best-ever attendance.

Our students blew us away with an incredible production of High School Musical. We also celebrated our talented musicians, with one of our students scooping the top Key Stage 4 prize at the Young Musician of the Year competition in Manchester. We capped off these achievements at our annual Presentation Evening.

Students enjoyed rewards trips to Flamingo Land, London, and the cinema. We also ran fantastic educational and outdoor trips, including visits to the Great Yorkshire Show, the Lake District with Basecamp, and Geography field trips to Malham and Farsley.

Our students and staff represented us brilliantly by running a water station at the recent Leeds 10k. We also hosted the Big Bike Giveaway, successfully handing over 100 bikes to local families.

We wrapped up the year with our rewards assemblies and Presentation Evening, celebrating our brilliant students for their outstanding progress and excellent attendance.

We are incredibly proud of all our students and the hard work they have put in this year.

Thank you again for everything you do to support our school. We wish you all a restful, safe, and happy summer, and we look forward to seeing everyone back in September.

Warm regards,

Louise Pratt

Principal
