Hello Year 11,

You have all made a great start to the exam season and we now need to keep up the momentum. With no formal exams on the timetable this Friday, we have a massive opportunity to get you ahead of the game. We will be holding masterclasses throughout the morning in English, maths and science.

The sessions have been designed completely around you, giving you expert, final-stretch support from your core teachers—without the stress of an exam waiting for you at the end of the corridor.

The Plan for Friday

• 9:00 AM Sharp: Everyone needs to be in and ready to go for a 9:00 AM start.(Breakfast available from 8:30)

• Periods 1, 2 & 3 (Core Masterclasses): You’ll be in your normal core lessons. Your teachers will be breaking down crucial exam techniques, unlocking top-mark answers, and making sure you feel 100% confident for your upcoming papers.

• Period 4 Onwards (Your Choice): Once Period 3 finishes, you get to choose how the rest of your day looks:

  • Option A: Head home for an early finish at 12.05pm to continue your independent revision.

  • Option B: Stay at school for targeted option-subject support in Period 4, followed by a double PE session to run off some steam and de-stress with your friends.

Why you need to be here

The hints, tips, and direct teacher support you’ll get in these three hours are things you cannot get at home. This morning could be the difference-maker for your final grades.
