Dear Parent/Carer,

I would like to invite you to our Year 11 Trial Exam Results day on Thursday 14th December. We will share results with students at 14.10 or 14.40, depending on their teaching group for period 5. Please see the table towards the end of the letter, to confirm which session your child will attend. 

Students have worked incredibly hard over recent weeks in preparing for and completing their first set of Trial Exams. This is a fantastic opportunity to share and celebrate successes and identify any areas in need of improvement.

Parents are invited to attend the 30 minute session with their child. Parents wishing to attend should enter the building via the Lecture Theatre doors which are at the bottom of the ramp which leads up to reception.

On the day, students will come down to the Lecture Theatre to meet with you, they will then collect their results sheet. Following this they will go into the hall for a short talk by either the Principal, Martin Blacoe, or Vice Principal, Louise Pratt.

Students will be allowed to leave school from the main hall at the end of their session, if a parent has attended the event with them. Students will return to class for the remainder of period 5, if a parent or carer has not attended.

Dear Parent/ Carer,

On Thursday 28th  September between 6.00pm and 6.30pm we will be holding a Key stage 3 information evening in the main hall of the Academy.

The purpose of the evening is to share key information about what your son/ daughter will be learning over the coming year, and ways in which this can be supported to ensure great progress is made.

Staff and students will be available to provide passwords and guidance to navigate communication tools such as Class Charts, MyEd and Parent Pay. This is a fantastic opportunity for any queries or concerns to be raised and resolved. 

We look forward to supporting you and your child in the forth-coming year. If you have any questions before or after the evening, please don’t hesitate to get in contact with either the Year Manager or the Key Stage 3 team.
