Governance
We are a part of the Co-op Academies Trust, which is a multi academy trust. Our Trust Board is legally responsible for the effective running of the whole Trust. To learn more about trust-level governance, please visit our Trust’s central website here.
Our Academy Community Council (ACC) is made up of our Community Council Members (CCMs) who are responsible for ensuring a high-quality student experience that meets the needs of our local community. Learn more about them below.
What do Community Council Members do?
Our Community Council Members (CCM's) support our school leaders and help them make sure we provide the best possible education and life chances for our students. CCM's volunteer their time to help ensure we are working at our best, and it is a key responsibility to make sure that our schools understand the needs of their communities, and that everyone who has an interest in the school is able to make their voice heard when decisions are being made.
As well as recruiting CCM's from our local communities, parents are welcome to apply for a role as a Parent CCM. This exciting opportunity offers training and guidance to allow you to become an active member of our Academy Community Council and school community.
Contacting the Community Council Members
Anyone in our community is welcome to contact the Academy Community Council to give them feedback or raise concerns, you can do this by:
